Just upload and install the zip via Joomla Webupload. After that you should find in your components list: Components --> Hotspots. The following folders need write rights: /components/com_hotspots/images/categories /components/com_hotspots/images/hotspots /components/com_hotspots/images/thumbs After setting the folder rigths, we need to set the api-key for Google Maps. You can get your key for free here: http://code.google.com/intl/de-DE/apis/maps/signup.html. Insert the key in the backend under hotspots -> configuration in the "Basics" tab. The other options in the configuration are explained here. Now you only have to set your menue link and the installation is finished. |
