Problem with Newest locations option 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hello

Please check option to display Category Newest Location, show only first added location

Not a bug, just a note: I think the floating menu will be more useful if on close will full hide itself, then appear when user press a link/buton. In my case, the menu is too much visible in the left size of page, have to drag it every time to see hotspots

Thank you

Hey Mett,

Please check option to display Category Newest Location, show only first added location

Never expirienced this. When you add a marker without geo data (lat and lng) you have to reload the site after adding. Because for this feature you need the geo data and the geodata is written into the db after the adding.

this is because you have to set the slide-in position in the css. Please read the release notes for that

Best regards, Yves

Well, i reload (refresh) site many times, i try to add from frontend and backend..same problem. The markers are in proper position, the geo code (latitude and longitude are correct), but still see only first marker as new (see attached file)

I found that the problem appear only for simple (old standard) template

Please check instead option to add hotspot for other two layouts...maybe is just me but i can't find this option using default or slider template

Same problem (using default layout). But after closing down IE8 and then opening it after several hours locations appear ???

Other problems I found:

- Clicking on "back to map" button, the default settings apply over custom ones (if I changed zoom level, and not show intro message - the original zoom and intro message reapear).

- Some css problems - see atached picture

- When I choose location with marker the zip and town name are switched. Tested only for Slovenia teritory.

- I too, have to close and constantly move the menu. Can this be solved in different maner ?

- Lastly (nothing to do with component) I can't see a part of forum text with IE8. Black menu module covers a part of text.

Otherwise I thing that your idea is great just need to be polished to shine with all it's glory. [img]

I figured out few things on my own.

The css problem is apparently due to the template I use because with rhuk_milkway works fine. But stil, the ordinary articles displays o.k. in tamlate I used.

The menu location can be corrected for IE8 by altering css file.

I got rid of intro text by changing scripts as suggested in previous threads but the meni still pops out (albeit set disabled) when pressing on "back to map".

There seems to be no way to delete thumbnail picture once atached to the hotspot.

I have problems with centering "by category markers bound" as not all hotspots show. To make it work I used these workaround:

- select category
- select hotspot
- go to details (press more...)
- press "back to map"
- exit IE
- reenter IE

There seem to be a general problem with sinchronization between seting parameters and result that is displayd on the screen. The best way to see changes is the procedure described above. Otherwise previous setings seems to remain. Maybe some cash problem ?
